A few days ago, we spoke with this Agent telling him about our interest in buying our own home. We were discouraged with the computations he presented to us. So we have accepted the fact that we can't afford a house this year. We were not prepared whatsoever. But anyway, the agent still scheduled a house viewing with us. So we just went ahead, and decided to go with the flow. The minute we walked inside the place, we loved it! It's not too small, not too big. Just enough for a newly wed couple :) It's a 3 bedroom flat. The Master's Bedroom is huge. We were just thinking too bad we can't afford it.. hehehe Then the agent asked us for our asking price. We were not ready to do a bidding. But okay. And the owner agreed to the price we were asking. So we had no choice but to make the 1% dowpayment. And think of other means for the rest of the 4%.
