Had a lunch out yesterday. We decided to take Luna to Lau Pa Sat. She had the Indian food (her fave) and Gary, Ron and I had Jolly V! I was so surprised. It is really like Jollibee. Hehe. Yummy chicken and spaghetti :)

Day 3 - Saturday, my last day in Manila. Monette permed my hair. Then I had it cut short to remove the split ends. The results: it's too short! hahaha. I'm really not used to it til now. Oh well. Went to South Supermarket to buy some groceries. Then met Carlo and his family at Metropolis. We were going to CCP to watch Benj's ballet thingy. She's part of the PBT. We arrived at the Harbor Square at around 7ish. Had dinner at Dencio's. Ate Shalom's treat! We had Kare Kare, Sisig, Grilled Pusit, and Crispy Pata. Yummy. Then we headed down to the CCP. The ballet was about Andres Bonifacio's life. So it's Andres in ballet shoes. It was fun. Really fun. Well, everything me and my hubby do is fun. Oh! And after the ballet, Ann (Daryl's GF) saw us there. She also watched the ballet. hehehe. What a coincidence. We got home at around 12 midnight. So tired. We still need to pack. But mom said we can go to bed and just worry about it after a few hours. Popsie wok

Day 2, Friday - Beklah and Boo's Wedding. Wokeup at 8AM (hehehe) had breakfast and got ready. Picked up Bhernzy and the Lousy boys at Mcdo San Pedro. Had a super fun joyride to Tagaytay. Had lunch at Leslie's. Look at our view: We had Pork Sisig, Bulalo, Baked Mussels and Calamares. Yummy! Side kwento, this is how the bathroom looks like. I thought, I had to literally pump the water pump thingy. hahaha. After lunch, we went to Starbucks, had coffee and nice aircon. hahaha. The weather was really really hot. So we need AC!!!! We arrived at the Calaruega Church around 2pm. People are still setting up the place. The ceremony started at 3:45pm (nobody won in the bet on what time it will start) My head was killing me! Day 1 - Thursday, Our flight was scheduled at 10:35AM. Woke up at 730AM. Got ready and left home at around 8-ish. It was my first time in the Budget Terminal. I mean I've been there but never ever board the plane from there. Checkin was fine. Same as usual. Had breakfast at Hanis. Went thru the immigration. When we finally got to the Gate for boarding, I was so shocked! OMG! It was nothing like the normal international airport. Oh well, we only paid 382 for our tickets (2 way for my hubby and me). So, I can't complain. I just felt bad that my parents and siblings have been going in and out of SG thru that. They haven't seen how pretty the Changi Airport is. Oh well. Maybe next time, when I have super dooper lots of money. The flight was not bad. Bhernzy couldn't sleep because of the cup noodles smell. I told her to stop being PG. I made this from scratch... hehehe... We didn't have soft tacos, so I used the frozen roti pratha (improvised!). I just sauteed garlic, onion, ground beef. And a little bit of water and salt and pepper :P Then I put a can of baked beans (in tomato sauce). Simmer simmer simmer. I sliced the onion, tomato and lettuce. I didn't grate the cheese. I just bought the shredded one (wise!). It's sooo yummy. We're planning to make this every week from now on.

Went to Zouk last night to attend the AT&T 80s Retro Party. Bumped into Alex, my former colleague at Access Worldwide. It was a nice party. Free food and drinks.. hehehe. I enjoyed the band, which is composed of AT&T employees: Lead Vocalist - HR Head (Indian) Lead Guitar - Director of Operations (American) Drums - Former PLDT employee (Pinoy) Bass Guitar - also a Filipino.. i don't know his story :p I think it's so cool. They were awesome!!!

I was craving for Chicken Tinola so I decided to cook. First attempt was yesterday. I went to the grocery store, but I didn't find Sayote. I was so sad. We just had dinner at the Banquet. And today, I went downstairs (grocery store in our office building) and found Sayote! Yey! I also bought Spinach (coz I couldn't find any chili leaves) and chicken. I immediately went home, washed my chicken and sayote and spinach. Sliced them up. And cook my very own version of Tinola..hahaha... Here's the photo :)

Went to Neptune Court Condo in East Coast to visit Luna and her Family. Mike (her husband) and Kylie (their daughter) greeted us at the door. We brought Sushis for everyone. Evan (their son) was so excited :) Had a tiring afternoon playing with the kids. Here are the photos.

Just had a meeting with the beklahs. We need to come up with a PLAN. We just hate freeloaders!!!! grrrr.... The boys won't do anything about it, so it's up to us now. Hope everything will be fine by next week. Bwahahaha (evil laugh).... We'd like to be mean... but it's not in our nature :P hehehe...

went to true spa for a complimentary back massage and ended up getting their package :p It was our first time in Cuppage Road (behind Centrepoint). We were so amazed coz it reminds us of Greenbelt 3. Lots of Restaurants and Bars. So many to choose from, and we just decided to have dinner at Bobby's Grill. The waiter thought we were tourists. Hahaha. But he knew we're from Manila.

wanted to go clubbing... but i couldn't seem to find someone to join me :( everybody else has something to do or saying they don't have money.. hahaha... oh well... maybe they just outgrew the clubbing lifestyle... fine, I'll just ask my hubby out.. hahaha....

Went out with the boys last night. Had some beer and snacks at Harry's Bar in Boat Quay. Nice view, great food and drinks. I just didn't like my Strawberry Margarita. It was too sweet. Going home, we rode the Bus 7N from Clarke Quay. It was our first time to ride a bus during after midnight (we usally just take the cab home). Good thing Lousy knows that this bus will stop in front of Simei MRT. Yey! We saved $30 taxi fare. Hahaha.

Went out last night to have Oktoberfest Beer in Paulaner Brauhaus... the beer was good... food was good... just like what we had in Germany! hehehe...

I just felt that I should document our trip, while the memory is still fresh :P Sept. 25, 2008 at 1:00am - departed Changi terminal 3 via SQ. It was our first time to be in a super long flight... SQ is quite nice... we had 2 meals (Dinner and Breakfast) and some snacks... they gave us this overnight kit with socks, toothbrush and toothpaste... the TV has 570++ channels (i didn't have the chance to browse thru all the channels) around 6:00am, we arrived at the Zurich Airport.. it was small.. just ok... it was so cold :p hahaha... we didn't expect it to be that cold :p We met our driver, Indra from Czech Republic, and also the Indonesian family (the other group in the trip). around 7:00-8:00am, we went straight to the Rhine Falls... it's the biggest falls in Europe... it was freezing there.... hahaha... around lunch time, we arrived at the Black Forest in Germany and saw the cookoo clock thingy... lunch was good...we had German pork knuckles (just like our crispy pata) after

My whole family, plus Fran, arrived yesterday via CP. It was so nice to see them again. And it's Fran's first time in SG. Went to Clarke Quay today for our photoshoot at Snapz! We had so much fun. I had a facial spa with Body Contours... It's a complimentary one for our SPA package... It was soo relaxing and refreshing.... Then I met mommy for lunch at Soup Spoon... It was my first time there... not bad... the soup was so huge.. I only ate half of it... but it was yummy.... I had pumpkin soup... Went to Hair Inn churva salon :P I can't remember the name.... Mommy and I had our hair makeover challenge... I had colored, rebonded (the top only) and permed my hair.... See the machine they used? I felt like there was an alien invasion or something... the results... then had dinner and coffee with the gang.... It was such a girlie day... hahaha...

Went to Sembawang to celebrate Vangie's birthday. We had pancit malabon, puto, lumpiang shanghai, and Kuntchinta. I let Sam and Phia put some makeup on me... and the results... hahaha... pose before leaving... Then we headed to the Ink Bar, in Fairmont Hotel SG near City Hall MRT for a night out. We were all dressed up. We rode the special cab, which I love to call the Fab Cab...hehehe...side note: the normal cab fits only 4 people... but the bigger cab can fits 7... Here's inside the Fab Cab, the place is cozy.. with a pinoy acoustic band playing onstage... wow! we came in early, and we were able to avail the one for one drink promo... I had mojito and strawberry margarita...

I feel so down today... went to an interview... and I never felt to down... It was like I wanted to tell them, "I really don't want this job if I'll be working with you... you're so mean and bitchy..."

Had dinner at the Chinese Resto in Century Square. The attendies are: Bhernzy, Olive, Roanne, Roche, Pampam, Nerie, me and Caloyski.

We helped in surprising Bing's parents yesterday... It was their 40th Wedding Anniversary!!! We can see that her parents were so happy and surprised... We were all wearing red (I wore maroon.. hahaha)... Bing was of course the mastermind... then she just listed down some tasks for us... and voila.. a surprise party :P It was held at Function Hall of Sunny Springs Condominium in Geylang... One of the highlights was when we forgot to bring a wine bottle opener.. hahaha... it's a good thing that a lot of Filipinos lived there... and Olive happens to know someone there (her college classmate Joan)... When we went to Joan's place, I was surprised to see my HS classmate, Clar.. she and Joan are housemates... small world 'ey? Met Annie, Lousy, RD, Tinee, Caloy, Bhernz, and April at Breadtalk in Citylink. Then we all went together to New York New York to surprise Noemie on her 28th Birthday!!! Noemie thought she was supposed to have dinner with Bing only... She was disappointed at first but was so surprised to see us all... I decided it's time for a new change.. hahaha... New life, new phone... I've upgraded my plan for another 2 years, and I got the phone that I want so much for only $38!!! yey!!! I'm so happy... last month, it was $198... hahaha... I saved $160... woohoo!! lucky me! Then, I also bought my new hair styler... I've been playing with it since last friday... hahaha...

Yes! After 2 years of staying here, I finally decided to have a haircut. I forgot to do it last January in Manila... and my hair is sooo long... I'm like a fairy or something... hahaha... I was so scared to go to the parlor here... hahaha... anyway, I just asked the hair stylist to cut 2 inches off my hair and follow the same style... well.. he did ok... I just didn't like the V shape at the back... (I always had U shape!)... but I didn't want to tell him.. I was scared that he will cut it shorter and shorter... hahaha... It was a 2-night visit in Singapore... Bhernz and I picked him up at the airport on Feb.29th... RD, Lousy, Annie, and April joined us for dinner... we went to Terminal 3 of Changi Airport... The next day was Sentosa day and Clarke Quay night... Dinner at Jumbo and drinks at Brewerkz... City tour for Djixie's last day... Photo ops with the merlion and then dinner at Glutton's bay...
