Bing's Parents' 40th


We helped in surprising Bing's parents yesterday...
It was their 40th Wedding Anniversary!!! We can see that her parents were so happy and surprised...
We were all wearing red (I wore maroon.. hahaha)... Bing was of course the mastermind... then she just listed down some tasks for us... and voila.. a surprise party :P

It was held at Function Hall of Sunny Springs Condominium in Geylang...

One of the highlights was when we forgot to bring a wine bottle opener.. hahaha... it's a good thing that a lot of Filipinos lived there... and Olive happens to know someone there (her college classmate Joan)... When we went to Joan's place, I was surprised to see my HS classmate, Clar.. she and Joan are housemates... small world 'ey?

Bing's Bday Bash

It was Bing's birthday last May 29th... But she decided to celebrate it last night... We had dinner at Hog's Breath Cafe in Vivo City... then went to St. James Powerstation for a full blast Par-tay!!! We went to the Boiler Room, where a Filipino band performed. I can't remember the name of the band, but they're really great!!! They played mostly Beyonce, Shakira, Black Eyed Peas and JT songs... The Filipinos in the club went wild when they sang "Bebot"... hahaha... It was a fun night... Random thoughts...

On being a w@wie: I've been a lurker at the w@w yahoo group for 2 months now. I think I've seen almost all the the wedsites of the active members. I always read their "about us" section. It's where the b2b's (bride-to-be) write something about them and their partners. Some put their love story there too. Based on what they've posted there, I think most b2b's are sweet, perky, bubbly, and funny girls. Also, I can sense how much they are soooo into their h2b's (husband-to-be). It's really inspiring to read all those posts on the w@wie's wedsite. Depression =( I have this weird theory that being depressed will make me lose weight... I'm soooooo depressed and sad about something right now... maybe I'm having a bad day or week or month... I don't know... =(
