- was the first time ever in my entire career life, to come in to the office on a Christmas Eve... - we had the "Noche Buena" (Christmas Eve dinner) at Ferdz's home in Hougang. We were with Caloy's Fujitsu friends. - went home at 4AM... hehehe.... - had a cooking session with Bing and Annie. We had chicken wings, spaghetti (ala Jollibee), Buttered Shrimps, Garlic bread, brownie with ice cream (from Bing), fishballs (from pinas), coke light and wine.... yummy lunch! - went to Mustafa coz we heard that there's a store selling 16GB iPod touch for only $570... but there were no stocks when we got there... =(

It was my last Friday in the office for this year... (I'll be in Manila next week! yehey! I can't wait!) We had lunch at the Chinese Resto in the basement of Century Mall (until now, we stil don't know the name of the place coz it's written in Chinese...) We love the food there... it's like North Park-ish hehehe.... Too bad Olive works in the City, she couldn't join us for lunch. It's a non working holiday here in SG... I decided to take a hike and went to Orchard to do some last minute Christmas Shopping. I had a tiring day, but it was all fun... even though I was all alone.. hahaha... First stop was Lucky Plaza... I sent some money to Manila... lots and lots of people there... and there was a 3 for $10 shop... I bought some beaded necklaces... they're all kikay :P Next stop was Takashimaya... I headed to Mango because of the up-to-50%-off-storewide... but no luck... hahaha... I wasn't able to buy anything from there... it's still expensive... and, there was a long queue at the fitting rooms and cashier... so I decided it's not worth it... I got so thirsty, I bought Iced Lemon Tea from Mcdonald's... yummy... Then I went to Wisma Atria... went straight to Mango (again) hoping that I can find something... but no luck (again)... Had dinner at Marche's with Caloy's Fujitsu friends. It was their Batch's Christmas Party, SG chapter.. hehehe... I was so happy and amazed when I saw this HUGE and GIGANTIC Christmas Tree in VivoCity.... hehehe... I can really feel Christmas now... I haven't seen the Orchard Road at night yet... I bet it's full of Christmas Decors and lights.... Merry Christmas Everyone... =) Oh.. and it's Hari Raya tomorrow... I think it's the Muslim's New Year... =) and it's a holiday here! woohoo!!!

was held at Annie 's new home in Changi Garden. It was a blast... we had pizzas, chicken, mac n cheese, chocolate cupcakes, yummy! and lots and lots of chikas and laughter :P We did some gift grabbing activity, it's an exchange gift with a twist... you can opt to grab an opened gift or open a new gift for yourself.... it was fun...

So far, this is one of the best gift ever! Carlo got the day-job thingy.... yipppeee!!!!! We're so excited.... He'll start reporting to his new boss when we get back from the wedding... yey! I'm soooo happy =)

We're so happy because we got free drinks from Starbucks today... yipee!! All you have to do is donate some money for the salvation army... and Starbucks will give you a free drink... I ordered Java chip frappe.. yipee!!! so yummy... the best part -- it was free!!! hahahaha....

We threw a baby shower for the Santiago couple last night. It was about a month of preparation. But we started getting serious during the last 2 weeks.. hehehe... April and I assigned the food, and prepared the games churva. The day before the big event, Ariel (the hubby) gave Olive the key to their beautiful home. The plan was to surprise Roanne. Hehehe... It was hard keeping it a secret. But Roanne was really surprised that day. She saw us all wearing the party hats. She thought we were aliens (coneheads!). the look on Mommy Roanne's face - Priceless!!! We had a blast... It was our first year anniversary last Sept.30 as a married couple... and nooo... we haven't killed each other yet... hahaha... we weren't able to go out and celebrate coz we were soooo tired and lazy that day... hahaha... Anyway, after the photoshoot, we decided to just eat at Dan Ryan's Chicago Grille last Sunday for the celebration... It was a yummy meal... =) then we headed to Vivocity and saw "balls of fury".. then we went home... =) To my honey... Day 1 - Momsy and Popsie picked us up at the airport.. It was so good to see them again. We had lunch at my parents' house. Daryl and Monette prepared the Inihaw na liempo.. yummy! I had dinner with Caths last night at City link. We had a blast. It was fun. We caught up on some chika. Mostly SPI chika. hahaha... I miss Barbie and Maricoru. I wonder when will we have a get together. It's been 2 years since the last time the four of us were together. =(

I usually use my ipod to and from work. Lately, the song "Bad Day" was played more than usual. Even if it's in shuffle mode. It's weird. Ano sya? molto? hahaha....

Caloy and I need to attend this Marriage Prep Seminar cheness. But why? Do we really have to? We've been married for almost a year. Isn't this just for those couples who are not yet married? I just find it unnecessary. And the schedule of this in our parish is every last Sunday of the month. The church lady told me that we can take the seminar here in Singapore. But the Marriage Prep Seminar here is called Engaged Encounter.... From the title itself... it's for engaged couples... Oh well... I gues we have no other choice but to book ourselves. The seminar costs $100. The earliest date available is on October 19-21. Yep! 3 days and 2 nights seminar in Punggol... Wish us luck... hahaha...

On being a w@wie: I've been a lurker at the w@w yahoo group for 2 months now. I think I've seen almost all the the wedsites of the active members. I always read their "about us" section. It's where the b2b's (bride-to-be) write something about them and their partners. Some put their love story there too. Based on what they've posted there, I think most b2b's are sweet, perky, bubbly, and funny girls. Also, I can sense how much they are soooo into their h2b's (husband-to-be). It's really inspiring to read all those posts on the w@wie's wedsite. Depression =( I have this weird theory that being depressed will make me lose weight... I'm soooooo depressed and sad about something right now... maybe I'm having a bad day or week or month... I don't know... =(

I woke up very very happy today... excited and happy actually.... When I came home... I don't know... my mood changed... some of my closest friends know about this ranting chenness... oh well... It's a good thing April is just a ym away and Bhernz is here to cheer me up... she even showed me her halloween look.... hahaha.. peace tayo ha :P

Why is it that a single woman in her late 20's, couldn't avoid the questions "bakit wala ka pang boyfriend?" or "bakit di ka pa nag aasawa?" or "kelan ka magkakaboyfriend?". Ang then, when this woman gets into a relationship, people starts asking "Kelan kasalan?". So, when the woman finally marries, you thought the interrogation stops there. It doesn't. People will now ask "Kelan kayo mag-be-baby?"....And when the woman gives birth, they will ask "kelan nyo susundan si baby?" and so on... Come to think of it, the interrogation doesn't really stop. So whether you're single, or in a relationship or married, people will ask questions that are very hard to answer. And people seem to be looking for definite answers, and most of the time, you don't have one.

It was Bing's birthday last May 29th... But she decided to celebrate it last night... We had dinner at Hog's Breath Cafe in Vivo City... then went to St. James Powerstation for a full blast Par-tay!!! We went to the Boiler Room, where a Filipino band performed. I can't remember the name of the band, but they're really great!!! They played mostly Beyonce, Shakira, Black Eyed Peas and JT songs... The Filipinos in the club went wild when they sang "Bebot"... hahaha... It was a fun night... So... what's new? I spent the weekendat Nirwana Resort Hotel in Bintan Indonesia with my cutie hubby, Noemie, Bhernz, April and Olive. We had so much fun. It was a total blast!!! Here's a summary of what we did: First Day 1. Lunch at Hotel - We arrived there at around 10:30AM, but we couldn't checkin until past 12noon. So we decided to eat first...hehehe... 2. Swimming/Pictorial Galore - when we finally managed to get in the rooms, we headed straight to the beach. We were planning on doing some water sports activities, but we opted to just enjoy the beach and the sun... and of course, picture picture... =) 3. Afternoon Delight - after swimming and the photo sessions, we were so tired and thirsty... we decided to have some snack at the Nirwana Beach Club... the calamari was very very tasty.. the nachos are ok and as well as the watermelon juice. We also noticed that the prices there is cheaper than the Nirwana Resort. We decided to have our dinner there also. 4. Dinner/Party

Caths is here!!! Wooohooo.... I really really missed being with her.. We used to be together all the time... hahaha... We were batchmates in SPI. We were also teammates, cube mates, lunchmates, merienda mates.. until I joined Misys that is... But then we joined Maricor at Access too... hehehe... and we became all that again... We always have loads of fun together... with all the chikas and laughing... and our fave thing to do - Okray galore! I'm so glad she's here now... I told her about: 1. the sign languages of Singaporeans for the numbers 5 and 7 2. the expression "going back" means going home. 3. and how they pronounce some words here like status and coke light She told me about their HR who is very nice to them, but sometimes speaks too fast that they couldn't understand a word he's saying. We had an impromptu party at Roanne's and Ariel's place last night in Changi Rise. We had dinner... they played Wii...and of course, sang (with Magic Sing) til almost midnight. Woke up at around 6AM yesterday and went to the IRAS building to file the income tax. I met April at Tanah Merah station. We met Caloy at City Hall. Then we all went to Novena. I was impressed with the government building. It was quite nice and the people are a bit friendly. April and I decided to do the manual filing, while Caloy did the e-filing thingy. It was easy to file. We even found several dropboxes for our tax return. We had a hard time choosing. Hahahaha.... No work today! Woohooo!!! I still woke up at around 7-ish... prepared breakfast for my honey, and then did the laundry... had lunch with Bhernz at the Easpoint Mall... we did some grocery shopping. After that, I took a bath (hehehe... yep.. it was a sunny sunny day here) and then caught up on LOST...had crabsticks wrap for snack (which Bhernz did)...and then cooked Chicken Tinola for dinner. My first ever home cooked Pininyahang Manok (Pineapple Chicken) was a success!!! Wooohooo!!! I got the recipe from a website . I just followed the instructions, and voila... Yummy!!! At first I thought it wouldn't taste good... haha.. but it did!

This is it! We got our PR application approval letter from the ICA! Woohoo!!! We'll definitely have a PR status here soon!!!! Plus, I also got the EP renewal form from AIT... =) Both in one day... =)

I just realized that I'm really really big and fat.. hahaha... well.. not that big and fat... but really, I do need to lose 20lbs!!! Today, I enrolled in a women's gym ( Amorefitness ) located inside Eastpoint Mall... Yey! only 8 minutes walk from my house.... I'm really really really looking forward to it.... But I think I'm gonna start next week, because it's closed on Saturday for the Chinese New Year thingy... too bad... The package is $360 for 24 sessions... I have 6 months to consume it... so I guess it's a pretty good deal since I only go to the gym either twice or thrice a week.. plus I got a lot of freebies... $50 SPA voucher, refer a friend voucher and get $10 off, 15% discount on their gym apparel, hair removal voucher, and another SPA certificate for either massage or facial.... wooohooo!!!! Last Friday, Olive asked me if I was going out on a gimik after office. I told her "No..." Then she asked jokingly if I have lots of chores at home to do. I said "actually.. yeah... I need to prepare dinner for Caloy, wash the dishes, then get our clothes from the clothes line, and lots of other household stuffs..." then it hit me... OMG! I'm a totally domesticated housewife! Paksyet! During weekdays, I will hurry home, and prepare dinner. I get off from work at 6:30-7PM and my honey needs to leave home before 8PM. Total travel time from office to my home is 15 minutes. I don't get the chance to sit down and rest until I'm done with all the chores. Hay... I don't know how I do it... well, I guess I just have to... When I was in Manila, I only think of myself... I will come home whenever, and food will be served... when I wake up, food is ready to eat... But here, I have to do everything... Sometimes Caloy helps me... He cooks breakfast and washes th

I love my Tuesday to Saturday mornings. It's when my honey comes home from work, and wakes me up with a kiss. Most of the time, I'm already awake when he comes in, but I just pretend that I'm still asleep... Hehehe... And of course, Sunday and Monday mornings are the best! That's when I wake up with him...

There was a Subway Promo this afternoon on all outlets. Pay only 10c for the 6-inch sandwich... with a limit of 1 sandwich per customer...It was only available from 3-4pm. We went there a few minutes before 3pm, and already, there were 100 people in the line.... It was like all employees of Citibank were there... We stayed in line for 10 minutes, then we finally gave up... lots of people were coming in, cutting the line... you know, friends of friends... while waiting in line... nagmamalaki ka Yoyong ha... hehehe.... We decided to just go to the mall and buy some snack there. Poor us... we were not able to take advantage of the promo... Oh well... I just bought some roasted nuts, Snow Ice Milk with Chocolate, and a cup of Corn... yummy! I really recommend this Snow Ice Milk with Chocolate...a great buy... specially on a hot sunny day... so refreshing.. hehehe...
