My "Hari Raya" Day

It's a non working holiday here in SG... I decided to take a hike and went to Orchard to do some last minute Christmas Shopping.

I had a tiring day, but it was all fun... even though I was all alone.. hahaha...

First stop was Lucky Plaza... I sent some money to Manila... lots and lots of people there... and there was a 3 for $10 shop... I bought some beaded necklaces... they're all kikay :P

Next stop was Takashimaya... I headed to Mango because of the up-to-50%-off-storewide... but no luck... hahaha... I wasn't able to buy anything from there... it's still expensive... and, there was a long queue at the fitting rooms and cashier... so I decided it's not worth it...

I got so thirsty, I bought Iced Lemon Tea from Mcdonald's... yummy...

Then I went to Wisma Atria... went straight to Mango (again) hoping that I can find something... but no luck (again)...

I decided to go to Citylink... I wanted to buy some shoes... So I rode the mrt to City Hall... went to Charles and Keith... no size of the shoes I wanted.... went to VNC.. still no shoe size... grrr.... fine... I realized I was already really tired... It was time to go home... but before that, I passed by Raffles City.. hahaha... (ayaw paawat!)

I made it back home just in time to serve dinner for my dear honey...

Bing's Bday Bash

It was Bing's birthday last May 29th... But she decided to celebrate it last night... We had dinner at Hog's Breath Cafe in Vivo City... then went to St. James Powerstation for a full blast Par-tay!!! We went to the Boiler Room, where a Filipino band performed. I can't remember the name of the band, but they're really great!!! They played mostly Beyonce, Shakira, Black Eyed Peas and JT songs... The Filipinos in the club went wild when they sang "Bebot"... hahaha... It was a fun night... Random thoughts...

On being a w@wie: I've been a lurker at the w@w yahoo group for 2 months now. I think I've seen almost all the the wedsites of the active members. I always read their "about us" section. It's where the b2b's (bride-to-be) write something about them and their partners. Some put their love story there too. Based on what they've posted there, I think most b2b's are sweet, perky, bubbly, and funny girls. Also, I can sense how much they are soooo into their h2b's (husband-to-be). It's really inspiring to read all those posts on the w@wie's wedsite. Depression =( I have this weird theory that being depressed will make me lose weight... I'm soooooo depressed and sad about something right now... maybe I'm having a bad day or week or month... I don't know... =(
