After 3 and a half years, it's time for my exit. I've learned a lot of things in Visa, and met lots of people. I spent the day submitting the requirements for my clearance, and also saying good bye to the people. I had my camera with me, and I took lots of photos. I'll miss my cubicle, I'll miss my friends and lunch buddies, I'll miss my project... But it's time to move on...

Today is the 11th day of the 11th month of year 2011 :) We went to the AT&T's party, themed Wild Wild West @ The Pump Room in Clarke Quay. Here are some snaps...

Today, i clocked in 15 hours of work. Started at 6am. I'm so tired and sleepy. Capped the night off with a relaxing bubble bath. :)

Momsie and Popsie are coming here! Also Daryl and Jay.. and David!!! It's gonna be a busy busy October! I just booked our tickets to Universal Studios! Yey! :) I'm super excited!!!

Ok so change of plans. We're no longer having dinner at MBS on our Anniv. We decided to go to Genting instead!!! Yey!!! Finally matutuloy na rin. Hehe. Now, I need 2 beach outfit for our pulau ubin trip. And then I need a couple of fall outfits for Genting! Can't wait!!!! Been couting the days. Hahaha.

For our birthday and anniv, we're going to pulau ubin. Never been there but I think we got a really good deal. I got the email confirmation on our booking. Yey!!! So excited!!! Can't wait. For our anniv, I'm thinking of having dinner at Marina Bay Sands. :) Ako lang talaga nagpaplano. Super busy si hubby sa work :(

If it's for me, they'll give me what I want and they'll wait for me. Hehe. If not, then sorry.

I have some leftovers from last night. I decided to make creamy pasta naman. Super yummy pa rin!!! May tira ulet. I'll make scallops omelette naman. Wag natin tigilan! Hahaha.

it's our bday month! Yey! My most fave month of the year.

Yesterday, I was craving for onion rings. But I'm too lazy to go out and buy some from tony romas or outback. I decided to just make it myself. Cravings satisfied! Then tonight for dinner, i decided to cook Seafood Pesto. It's an invention of mine. Hahaha. I just put together some crabmeat, shelled scallops, garlic, almonds, cheese and pesto sauce. Super yummy!!!! Tomorrow it'll be creamy seafood pasta for dinner. Hehehe.

It's time for my annual perm thingy. Went to JYJY in Century Square, unfortunately, Lilo (my stylist) was not there. I had to deal with this other stylist. I didn't realize my hair was that long!!! ready for perming :) after removing the curlers :) finished product:

I've been working for 3 straight weeks. Including weekends. Hayz. So tired. What a loser. Hehehe. But I'm thankful coz it means we still have lots to do on my super long term project. It's been going on for 11 yrs. Hehehe. And yes. More work on Tuesday. Even though it's a holiday here. Life!

Had a very very busy Sunday. Did some work, did the laundry, ironed the clothes. Went out for dinner and did a night stroll back home.

It's my first time to make a diaper cake for Tinee's baby shower. I had the concept a few days back, but didn't have the time to construct it. And finally, just a few hours away from the party, I was able to put together this. (Partida, I was working when I made this.. as in working from home coz we were forced to.)

Finally got the Visa debit card (from Visa of course)! Got a really good deal at Taka... so happy! :)

Visa has this 'go beyond' thingy where you can nominate someone who excelled in the team... I already received 3 this month! yey! it was my first time to receive the Certificate :) And today, I got another email... together with the 3rd go beyond certificate, I got a $100 cash! yey! hahaha So I told my 2 friends in the office that I will treat them for lunch (just a mcdo hahaha).. and Bhernzy wants starbucks... Then I want to buy earrings... hahaha... a simple reminder of my Go Beyond.. nothing super expensive.. just something to remember this Go Beyond Achievement I received.. hahaha all those weekend work and latenights... starting to payoff :)

The engagement ring Caloy gave me is already 6 years old. So we decided to go the jewelry shop for cleaning and polishing... Inside the shop: Caloy: Lika... gusto mo palitan na natin yan ng mas malaking bato? Donna: Talga??? Caloy: Oo.. magkano ba yan (looking at the display... biglang napaatras) Mahal pala no? Donna: (LOL) Today, I got my newly polished ring... it's so pretty... parang bago!!! :) Now I want our wedding bands polished too!!! hahaha

since I'm a thousand miles away from home, eto nalang ang family picture namin during Daisy's birthday celebration...

Wokeup a bit early so I can order McDonald's breakfast meal... hahaha

My work friend thought I was pregnant already... wahhhh! I think I'm super fat na... so I'm super desperate to lose weight. A friend of mine has been using this coffee for months. I really saw great progress on her! She really lost a lot of weight in about 3-4months. And she's continuing to take it til now. Good thing Nerie told me the coffee is also available here in Singapore. So gora naman ako sa LP to buy this: Let's see if this will work on me :p hehehe...

been running out of ideas on what to have for dinner.. and Daisy taught me this simple salmon recipe. first step is to bake the salmon with only calamansi. Then set aside. Combine mayonaise, crushed/finely chopped garlic (or use garlic press), grated cheese, pepper and all purpose cream in a baking dish, put the salmon, then top it with the mixture. Then put the breadcrumbs. Bake in low heat for 15-20minutes. And a yummy dinner!!! I think you can also use butterfly prawns instead of salmon.. yum! paired this with steamed rice and buttered veggies..yummy!

Been unwell since wednesday. Friday was the worst. Yesterday I went out to have my monthly massage thing with Bhernz. It was awesome! Felt a little better after the steam bath and massage. Then I had to meet Caloy at tanah merah to get our Sundown marathon racepacks. Yes! Kasali ako! Kumusta naman. Hahaha. We had dinner at Tapa King. Yum! And then we saw the pirates movie. The movie was ok. Was laughing when I saw the mermaids flew/jumped out of water like flying fish. Hahaha. After that, did some grocery shopping then home. I slept for more than 9hrs. Hurray! Finally a good night sleep. When I wokeup this morning (or noontime) I was feeling better. Sore throat gone. Clogged nose gone. Just a few sniffles left. :) I'm super glad I was able to cook brunch - bistek tagalog... And dinner - pinoystyle spaghetti and chicken fingers. Sabi ni Caloy masarap naman. Di ko kasi malasahan. Hirap pala magluto pag walang sense of smell and taste. Great day. :) some said it was already the end of...

Caloy is really really busy with work, and I am sickie. Today is our 11th anniversary :) Yes! 11 years of friendship and love. Our anniv meal - McDonald's: he had quarterpounder with cheese and I had doublecheeseburger. Plus seaweed fries and cinnamon melts!!! Yummy!!! Love you Babe! Looking forward to 11 more years with you. Mwah!

I'm super tired of wearing glasses or contact lenses. Lots of people recommended Lasik. I read about it. Weighed in my options (and resources). I think I wanna try epi lasik. I have an assessment checkup on May 30th. Hope everything will be fine and I qualify for the surgery. Wish me luck! :)

There's a new mall opened at Serangoon MRT station. It's 8 stations away from Paya Lebar (where my work is). We decided to try the Shaw Premiere Cinema and booked the tickets for Fast 5. The cinema is so sossy! wah lau! reclining seats, with table, and kumot and butler - you can order food inside the theatre!!! She's been working her ass off since she got here. Linis galore at labadami labango! She even ironed our clothes for the next month :P hehehe So for her to stop working around the house, I took her to mani/pedi appointment at Grandeur Nails. I even gave her a hand/foot paraffin treatment. This is my mother's day gift to Momsie. Love you Nay! Thanks for everything :) iaapply ka na namin ni Caloy ng Long Term pass dito... hahaha

been working for 11 days straight now... lack of sleep and very very tired... my boss gave us a dayoff :) yey! I love having dayoffs on a Friday :) I wokeup with a smile on my face... I've planned my day wisely.. 1st stop: Body scrub and Massage at Body Contours. It's been 3 months since I last had a massage. 2nd stop: JYJY hairdressing salon to have a haircut, hairspa and haircolor.. it's been 7 months since I last went to a hair salon. 3rd stop: This was an accidental stop. Shopping!!! found really great bargains at Isetan! love love love shopping. Dresses are $10 each and blouses are $5!!! 4th stop: Dinner with honey... He was working from home, so we just met at the mall to have dinner :) 5th stop: Coffee and dessert... the movie won't start til 10:35pm, so we had dessert first 6th stop: Movie night - Source Code - enjoyed the movie with my honey :)

Been working so hard lately. I really needed to relax. I decided to have a bubble bath. Some me time. :) Love love love!!!

Wow! Time flies so fast! Couldn't believe that i've been away from my parents' home for a long time. I still remember my first few days here. Bing picked me up at the airport. Caloy was in Sepang watching the F1. Lousy ordered pizza for lunch. Yay! The next day bing, RD, Lousy and I went to ikea for shopping. Bing bought me a lamp. Caloy taught me how to do my laundry. I think I really improved as a person over the past 5 years. I've learned to be independent. I've travelled a lot. I met new friends and family. Went to Tawandang Microbrewery in Suntec to meet my HS bestfriends Ayin, Lawrence, Yehlen and Willison! Yummy food and yummy beer! :) perfect! Then I went to Grandeur Nails with Mommy Nerie for our mani/pedi appointment. Here's a photo of my collagen mask, and Wendy my therapist.. hehehe After the relaxing mani/pedi, we went to Orchard Road to do some shopping.. yay!!! sa CR ng ION :) my new dress!!! the damages :) hehehe (hindi ko na isinama un nabili kong kitchen stuffs.. they don't go well with these..)

Wokeup at almost 11AM! Hindi naman ako masyadong PG... wala kasi si Caloy... so ako lang mag isa kumain ng brunch :( prepared bacon, mini-pancakes, egg and hazelnut coffee... yummy!

We're planning to buy a property in Manila. We'd like to build a commercial complex (akala mo anlaki laki ng lupa! at akala mo ang yaman yaman namin!) We're tired of sending money home to our families. And we think this is the best way that we can help them and help ourselves. So we raised the money to buy the property. Utang dito utang doon :) We have the money na, then we learned that Dad (my father in law) needed a heart surgery. Andiogram and andioplasty. it was so hard to send money to the philippines. We have to withdraw the money from the banks (coz there's a daily limit in ATMs) and then go to Lucky Plaza and send money home. I was so tired doing this. I went out in the middle of the day to do this. While I'm also still busy with my work. Wednesday, we both worked from home. We were really tired from all the sending money thing plus work. Then I booked a ticket for Caloy. His sisters requested that if he can come home, he has to. So I booked the evening flig...

As I've suspected, i tested positive for TB... hahaha I think most Pinoys will test positive... They ordered an X-ray... I was so scared... see: After the X-ray, the doctor cleared me. Without giving me any meds... I was so happy... but when I talked to my friend in the office, Angela, she says she also has clear lungs, but the doctor gave her meds. I said maybe I'm fat? that's why there's no TB danger? hehehe.... or maybe because I'm pinoy and she's a local :P We don't know. But the good news is I don't have to take the meds! yey!!! Here's my clearance:

Someone has been diagnosed with TB. On my first day of work for 2011, they say I need to get tested. Went to the TBCU near Novena to get tested. Only, I went to the wrong clinic :( Was able to manage and find the correct one (it's just right next to where I went) Thoughts? Well, why is this happening? I'm so paranoid. I don't want to take the meds for TB. Results will be out tomorrow. Hopefully it's negative. Right now it's red and itchy :( Wish me luck!

Spent the Christmas in the Philippines. :) Yes! For me, my last Christmas with my family was 2005. And Caloy's was 2004. It was a really nice trip :) Here's our Christmas gifts to each other:
